EGA’s programmes for students have been running for more than four decades. They give students first-hand experience of working in industry during their studies, and are particularly focused on students of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Many UAE Nationals who have participated in EGA’s opportunities for students have pursued careers at long and successful careers at EGA.

Internship Programme

Internship Programme collaborates closely with universities and colleges to offer students the opportunity to fulfil the practical training requirements of their academic programmes. Each intern is provided with a tailored development plan designed to ensure the attainment of essential learning objectives.

To be eligible for consideration for an internship, you must meet the following criteria: 

• UAE National holding a valid UAE passport
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• You are not currently sponsored by any other organisation. 
• Your chosen major should directly relate to EGA's core business.

Summer Training programme

EGA offers valuable work experience programmes to both high school and university students during the summer months. Participants are placed in departments that align with their field of study, ensuring a meaningful and educational experience. Summer training is compensated.

To be considered for summer training, you must meet the following criteria:

• UAE National holding a valid UAE Passport
• A high school student in Grade 10 or above, or a university student.
• You are not currently sponsored by any other organisation.
• High school students should have achieved a grade of at least 75 per cent.
• University students should have a GPA of at least 3.00.
